INDIANAPOLIS – The Georgia College baseball team (27-18, 17-9 PBC) came in eighth in the first NCAA Southeast Region Rankings, the NCAA announced Wednesday.
The region rankings determine the three at-large bids to the NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament in May.
This weekend’s Bobcat opponent Armstrong owns the top slot, leading the five Peach Belt Conference (PBC) teams on the list.
The South Atlantic Conference (SAC) leader Tusculum College is second, with defending champion Mount Olive College third. Francis Marion University is No. 4, followed by No. 5 Catawba College and No. 6 USC Aiken. Lander University owns the slot above the Bobcats.
The Bobcats are back in action Friday, April 27 at 7 p.m., hosting Armstrong.
