MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The No. 23 Georgia College baseball season-opening series originally scheduled for this weekend has been pushed up one day to hopefully avoid the threat of rain. The Bobcats will now take on King College (Tenn.) with a doubleheader Friday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. and a single game Saturday, Feb. 4 at noon.
Predicted third in the PBC Preseason Coaches Poll, the Bobcats went 35-17 in 2011, including a 15-9 mark in the Peach Belt, good for second in the West Division.
