Bobcats Claw Their Way Back into NCBWA Regional Poll

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College & State University baseball team (11-7, 4-2 PBC) clawed their way back into the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Southeast Region Poll released Monday, March 15, taking the No. 10 slot
Tom Carty’s ‘Cats are one of seven Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools listed in the regional poll. Columbus State University is the highest-ranked PBC team at No. 2 followed by USC Aiken, UNC Pembroke and Francis Marion University. Armstrong Atlantic State University is ranked No. 7 while North Georgia took the No. 9 spot.
The Bobcats hit the field against Lenoir-Rhyne University Tuesday, March 16 at John Kurtz Field at 7 p.m.
