Bobcats Receiving Votes in Collegiate Baseball Magazine Poll

SAVANNAH, Ga. – After losing three games
to then No. 7 University of Tampa, the Georgia College & State
University baseball team (0-3) dropped out of the first
regular-season Collegiate Baseball Magazine NCAA Division II Top-30
poll but is on the cusp, still receiving votes.
The Bobcats are receiving 11 votes in the poll released Feb. 8. The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) has two teams in the top-30 and three other members receiving votes. Francis Marion University is the only PBC school in the top-10 at No. 8 and UNC Pembroke is at No. 28, while GCSU, USC Aiken, North Georgia and Columbus State University are getting votes.
Georgia College returns to the ballfield Friday, Feb. 12 at 11 a.m. against Washington Adventist University in a tournament hosted by Lander University.
