Former Georgia College Baseball Player Featured in Las Vegas Sun

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Glen Evans, a former Georgia College baseball player, was featured in the Las Vegas Sun today, Sept. 18.

Evans pitched for the Colonials during the mid-1980s and now is a part-time pitching coach at the College of Southern Nevada under head coach Tim Chambers. Also a former Colonial, he and Evans are long-time friends and transferred to Georgia College together in the ‘80s. Chambers led the Colonials in walks, stolen bases and runs scored in 1986.
