#14 Bobcat Baseball to Host Habitat for Humanity Night Friday

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The No. 14 Georgia College & State University baseball program and head coach Tom Carty are proud to announce a relationship with Habitat for Humanity in Baldwin County, hosting "Habitat for Humanity Night" Friday, April 24 at 6 p.m. at John Kurtz Field. The Bobcats host the University of Montevallo for the beginning of a three-game set that night.

At the contest, members of Dr. Schwartz' sports marketing class will collect items for the Habitat ReStore, including gently used toys, appliances, glassware, books, dishes, knickknacks, art, lamps, furniture, home improvement and paint.

In addition to donations, there will also be a raffle for gift certificates and other items donated by local businesses. All proceeds from the raffle will also go to Habitat.

Habitat for Humanity has been serving Milledgeville/Baldwin County for 15 years, working to eliminate substandard housing. With your help and the help of hopeful homeowners, Habitat can provide affordable homes to those in need.
