Bobcat Cross Country Teams Keep Top-10 Slots

NEW ORLEANS - The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association of America (USTFCCCA) recently released its week 4 Southeast Region rankings, with the Georgia College & State University teams both taking spots in the top-10. The men owned the No. 9 slot, while the women occupied the No. 10 position.

The Georgia College women stayed put at No. 10 in the idle week, while the men dipped two places to No. 9.

The men's team ranks fourth among the five Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools listed, behind No. 2 Columbus State University, No. 3 Clayton State University and No. 8 UNC Pembroke. Queens (N.C.) University once again occupies the top slot for both the men and women.

On the women's side, the Bobcats are fourth among PBC institutions, behind No. 4 Columbus State University, No. 5 Augusta State University and No. 9 University of Montevallo.

Both squads are back in action Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Southern Challenge in Marietta, Ga.
