MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The newest class for the Georgia College Athletics Hall of Fame has been named, and Bobcat Nation is ready for this year’s induction ceremony Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. in Magnolia Ballroom.
The class features three individual members as well as a first for the GC Athletics Hall of Fame with a team induction. Softball’s Keidra (Baitey) Ward, gymnastics’ Janelle Tucker and the school’s first Athletic Director Floyd Anderson will join the 1981 NAIA National Championship Colonial Gymnastics Team to receive GC Athletics’ top honors.
The reception will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres and is free and open to the public, but donations will be welcome that evening to the GC Athletics Student Scholarship Fund.
