MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College basketball doubleheader, originally scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 29 has been moved to Feb. 19, due to projected inclement weather.
With proposed snow on the horizon, the athletic departments at both Georgia College and Clayton State University have decided to move the contest, in the interest of safety. All proposed promotional events—“Salute to America Night” and Faculty Appreciation—have also been moved to Wednesday, Feb. 19 with doubleheader action to start at 5:30 p.m.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
