Georgia College Announces Faculty Associates for 2013-14

Georgia College Athletics has Academic Success

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College athletic department is pleased to announce the faculty associates for the 2013-14 academic year.

“The Faculty Associate Program has helped integrate the student athlete with the academics of Georgia College,” said head tennis coach and assistant Athletic Director Steve Barsby. “The program allows the Bobcat athletes to build relationships with faculty members to strengthen the liberal arts experience Georgia College offers.”

The Faculty Associate Program began in 2010 and was developed to build a stronger relationship between the academia of Georgia College and GC Athletics. A faculty member represents every Georgia College athletic program, and will be able to attend team practices, games, and team events.
