MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The first “Meet the Bobcats Night” for the 2012-13 school year took place Tuesday night at Zaxby’s in Milledgeville, and was a highly-attended success.

The normal schedule for “Meet the Bobcats Night” will generally be the first Tuesday of every month, as schedules permit. The regular schedule will begin Sept. 4 with women’s soccer, and then continue in October and November with each Basketball team having a night.

“We’re excited to be out in the community,” said Steve Barsby GC Assistant Athletic Director. “For our athletes to be able to meet the fans and be a part of a fun night at Zaxby’s.”

The nights will feature a different Bobcat team every month, along with Thunder, and the live broadcast of the brand new Georgia College Sports Talk show, “The Prowl”. Kids will be able to meet the athletes and have them sign a Bobcat poster. All Zaxby’s kids’ meals will be free with paid adult meal during the time “The Prowl” is on the air.
