MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Department of Athletics has announced its first “GC’s got Talent” halftime show event series beginning in the spring.
The series will feature student talent performances during home basketball games, with the winner of the fan vote receiving $500 in cash and prizes.
The competition is free and open to all Georgia College students. Those interested need to apply with an up to five-minute YouTube video showcasing their talent by sending the link to email@example.com . Group or individual acts are both permitted. The submission deadline is Dec. 1.
“We know we have a campus full of talented students,” said sports information director Al Weston. “This gives our local community a chance to see that talent. I know I’m personally looking forward to the submissions to see all of the unique abilities our students have.”
