Bobcats to Host Volleyball, Baseball, Softball Camps Next Week

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Department of Athletics has a full slate of summer sports camps opportunities next week, featuring volleyball, baseball and softball. For more details and to register, visit www.GCSportsCamps.com .

Your youngster has the chance to be a part of the first summer volleyball camp in school history from Monday, July 15 to Thursday, July 18. For just $185, future volleyball stars ages 6-to-17 will get specific attention from GC volleyball coach Gretchen Krumdieck and Bobcat players. Lunch is included, with each day beginning at 9 a.m. and finishing up at 4 p.m.

Fresh off the first Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament Championship in school history, head baseball coach Tom Carty will put his experience to work helping to hone the skills of local baseball players from Monday through Thursday. Youth ages 8-to-12 get full-day instruction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $220, while youngsters ages 5-to-7 can do a half-day 9 a.m.-to-noon for $145. Lunch is included in full day camp only.

Head softball coach Jamie Grodecki took her Bobcat squad to the NCAA Tournament in 2013, and hosts a two-day skills camp at the Peeler Complex. Beginning Tuesday, July 16 and concluding Wednesday, July 17, softball players in seventh to 12th grade will get instruction from the PBC Coach of the Year and her staff from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Lunch is also included in the $150 cost.
