SAAC Raffle Helps Raise Funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.- The Georgia College Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be holding a raffle during the halftime of the men’s basketball game Saturday, March 2 to help raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The SAAC will be selling raffle tickets for $5 up until the drawing at Saturday’s basketball games. The winner of the raffle will receive 10 percent of all the proceeds and will be announced during the halftime of the men’s game. The remaining proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is an organization that helps grant wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The foundation has enriched the lives of thousands of children through its wish-granting work.
