MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College tennis program and head coach Steve Barsby announced the Bobcats’ fall schedule Friday.
The men’s side gets things started with the Georgia College Men’s Fall Championships Sept. 16-18 at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility. This year’s will be the 11th in school history.
The very next weekend, both teams travel to Sumter, S.C. for the ITA Southeast Regional Tournament, Sept. 23-26.
The semester’s action ends with the 19th Annual Georgia College Womens’ Fall Championships at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility Sept. 30-Oct. 2.
Both the men’s and women’s squads return All-PBC performers from a year ago, set to do battle on the courts. For the men’s side, Jerome Leborgne (Coordimanche, France) and Johan Wadstein (Helsingborg, Sweden) both earned second team slots in singles, while Kayla Barksdale (Augusta, Ga.) earned a second team doubles slot for the women.
