GC Baseball Takes Series Over Young Harris with Two Saturday WinsYOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Georgia College Baseball team (19-8, 7-5 PBC) took both games of the Saturday doubleheader on the road against Young Harris College (10-17, 4-8 PBC) with a huge comeback win in game one 14-13, followed by a 16-7 blowout in game two. #14 GC Men’s Tennis Downed by #4 Armstrong State, 7-2MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – No. 14 Georgia College Men’s Tennis (8-6, 3-3 PBC) was able to notch out two match wins against No. 4 Armstrong State University (11-4, 6-0 PBC) in Friday’s 7-2 loss. Kyle Kinsler (Suwanee) got his second win this year in the fifth spot as Pedro Ecenarro (Santiago de Compostela, Spain) snagged yet another strong victory in the second flight against a nationally-ranked opponent.
GC Baseball Falls to Young Harris on the Road, 6-5YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Georgia College Baseball team (17-8, 5-5 PBC) lost a heartbreaker on the road against Young Harris College (10-15, 4-6 PBC) Friday evening after a walk-off home run from Mountain Lion designated hitter Brett Westmoreland. The Bobcats held a 5-1 lead in the seventh inning, but three late Mountain Lion home runs surged them to victory, 6-5.
#31 GC Women’s Tennis Overcome by #4 Pirates, 9-0MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – No. 31 Georgia College Women’s Tennis (6-7, 3-3 PBC) fell to No. 4 Armstrong State University (14-3, 4-0 PBC), 9-0, Friday as the Bobcats brought the action back home to Milledgeville to close out Georgia College’s spring break.
